Through holding an exhibition of his work, Galerie Simon Blais would like to pay tribute to the Québec painter Jacques Hurtubise, who died December 27, 2014. To underscore the special relationship the gallery enjoyed with the artist, Simon Blais and his associates have drawn from the entire corpus of his paintings, whose remarkable liveliness and intensity will never fade.
